2024 Class Membership Fee

What’s Changed?
Arising from the 1720 2023 AGM, the class entry fee has been amended to address several differing membership requirements, as follows:
Full Annual Membership €200
Overseas Membership €75
Club Boats (U25) €75
The above memberships will have voting rights at our AGM.
Single Event Class Fee €75
(Note: The Single Event Class Fee will not have voting rights and can only be payable once per season, i.e. if a boat intends to do two events they must opt for annual membership at €200. They cannot purchase a second single event membership.)
Purpose of Fee Increase
The purpose of increasing the membership fee is to generate some money for the class that can be made available to:
Improve the running of regional class events. Raising the standard of officiating at regattas is expensive and it is advantageous to have funds to help clubs who are running the events where needed. Contributions towards race officials, on-the-water umpires, event photographers, cranes, overall season prizes, etc may be drawn from enhanced class funds.
Improve (social) media output to help grow the class.
Subsidise coaching, particularly at regional events.
Fund research into potential design or supplier changes to enhance the robustness and reliability of the fleet.
